Cool features on this car seat...
on June 26, 2018

So, immediately out of box this car seat was "easy" - there was nothing that needed to be put together except to snap in the cup holders! The entire car seat is 1 piece and it's super easy to change the angle for front or rear facing using the "recline foot". There's lots of cushion and 2 out of my 3 kids who tried it had no complaints (the oldest was too small to use the booster seat option). The recline feature is really cool, but you wouldn't be able to use it while you're driving, but if you're taking a drive for nap time, then it's useful to recline before your child falls asleep. We did find the car seat a little big/heavy. It was a bit of a tight fit in the middle seat of our minivan. The cup holders can come out for easy cleaning, which is a huge plus! We used the latch system and it was so easy to connect; there is also a built in compartment to hide the latch belts when not in use. The base of the car seat is solidly attached, but because of how the tightening belt works, like a lap belt as opposed to having 2 belts on either side) and because of the rails for the recline feature, the car seat "feels" like it rocks side to side even though it is properly installed. One last thing, the harness release button is buried under the cushion, so it's hard at first to loosen the belt, but the positive side is that your child can't let themselves out while you're driving either! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing us this car seat!

Nice, but bulky

Verified Purchase:Yes
It’s a nice car seat, but it’s incredibly bulky and heavy. It also does not have the latch system. There are no hooks that you can clip on into your car, you have to use the actual seatbelt. Was very disappointed in this.

comfy but big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the seat a lot and it seem very comfortable for my daughter. I feel like she is supported well when she falls asleep.
It is quite a large seat, we have a smaller suv and it does require the front seat to be a bit more forward than we would normally place it in order to allow room for this carseat in the back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Sturdy
on June 19, 2018

Honestly, I always like the graco car seats. They are so sturdy. If I lived in NYC and had to carry my car seat up and down flights of stairs this wouldn't be the one for me, but as a car seat that stays buckled into the car, its great and feels safe for my baby and toddler. I love that you can use this from birth through almost 10 years old. The recline gave it a different shape than other car seats but it was easy to use, easy to install and easy to recline. I used my vehicle's safety belt to secure the seat, but using the latch belt would have been doable also. I received this car seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

AWESOME SEAT!

This seat was a blessing to us! We have a brutal advocate and my littlest one (I have four) starts crying from the time he gets in it til we stop the car! We just finished traveling from Massachusetts to Florida and he did not cry once! The whole way! We put him in the seat completely reclined and he was happy as a clam the whole ways. The only thing I will say is that it was hard to secure it rear facing and make sure it was secure. We will figure it out though. The to the weeSpring parent panel I had a stress free ride with four kiddos, I appreciate he opportunity to try this seat.

Must have seat!

WOW! Parents, dread the car seat swap no longer! Easiest car seat to install, I used the seat belt! Bonus with the no-rethread harness (my favorite feature), you don't have to adjust it before you put the seat in the car and as they grow you don't have to take the seat out to readjust! My 14 month old seems to enjoy the recline feature. I'll recline her when I know she's sleepy and it's so easy to adjust the recline feature when stopped. A seat to last for sure! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this car seat!

Recline! Recline! Recline!

I was given this car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. This car seat is very stylish and well made, definitely feels sturdy! It was super easy to install with the latch system, always a plus. My 3 year old climbed right in and seemed pretty comfortable. The harness is super easy to adjust since it’s a no thread, another plus! But I will say that the best part of this seat is the Recline feature! What a treat to be able to adjust the Recline option AFTER he is in his seat! This made things so much easier for both of us! We love this seat!

Great, easy to use car-seat

I have been using the Graco Recline N’Ride 3-in-1 Car Seat for a little over a week, and overall I love it and would recommend. One of my favorite features is the recline foot, which flips from front to back to allow easy installation for forward facing or rear facing. The car seat sits higher than the one I was previously using, allowing my 18 month old (very petite) daughter to actually see out of the car window easily, which is a great feature for her. Another plus of it being a little higher is that in my low car it is not such a back breaker to get the baby in and out of the seat. Also, they are not kidding when they say that it is easy to recline the seat once installed. It is a one-hand job, and super simple to adjust either to make it level or for baby’s comfort. The belt path and belt lockoff for seatbelt installation are easy to find and use, as they are right at your baby’s feet. Another nice feature is the release button for the harness strap is pretty far back under the fabric. My son went through a stage where he liked to release his harness, causing me some heart stopping moments on the road until I could pull over and fix it. I do not foresee this being a problem as you have to reach so far in to release the belt it would be difficult for a child. Speaking of the harness, it was simple to adjust the harness height to what our daughter needed, and even the buckle strap was easy to access on the bottom of the seat.
One thing that I did not love about this car seat – I have a small car (Ford Focus Hatchback) and installation was TOUGH! Because the seat sits higher than the other car seats I have used (which is a feature I love) and my car has lower ceilings, it was difficult to get enough downward pressure on the car seat to get it really tight (less than 1” movement). I usually do this by getting a knee (or knees) into the seat of the car seat while pulling on the latch system or seat belt (depending on installation). It was very hard to fit my adult size body over the edge of the car seat to do this. If you have a compact or small car this is something to think about – it can be done but it involved some sweating in the June heat!
I was given this car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, and I would definitely give it an A for ease of use and adjustment!
