[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a very difficult time getting this set up and once I set it up a day after it fell down. I am not sure what it is that I did wrong in setting this up. But I was really looking forward to this and not having the types of hassles that I did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dash cam does exactly what it promises and comes with all the right accessories. Great screen size and excellent clarity. The installation on my windshield was very easy by following the included quick set-up guide and worked right out of box. The size is small so it does not create any visibility issues. The video and image quality is exceptional. I highly recommend the Nextbase 122 dash cam to anyone considering purchasing a dash cam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a dash cam because of crazy driver's now a days. Didn't expect for it to be as nice as it is. Great quality video day and night. Came with everything and the cord is so long had to tuck it under my dash. Really like that it comes on when I start my truck and not with the remote starter so it doesn't record for 10 -20 minutes sitting there warming up. It's very easy and simple to use. I absolutely love it and makes me feel safe. I definitely getting one for my back window.

Easy setup and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several dash cams in the past years. This one stood out because it has a unique feature. It is a magnetic mounted device. Often, I would have to fully remove a dash cam from my car to bring it to my computer. With this dash cam, I just pop it off the strong magnetic base and I don't have to mess with wires. The quality of image is very good. This dash cam doesn't have a night vision mode, but the camera really doesn't need it. There is enough light to capture any events that are occurring. The stabilization is really good. Very smooth video. I have the camera set to the 'Park' mode which causes the camera to auto start when I start my vehicle. This mode also is a motion sensor mode. There is a small battery in the camera and even though my car is off, if someone or something walks in front of it, the dash cam will capture the video of it. There are multiple ways to mount the camera. I chose to use the suction cup method. It is very sturdy and I have used it now for well over a month and the mount is still fastened to my windshield strongly. The unit does not come with a microSD card. I have a 32gb one from Nextb and it works very well with it. I am very pleased with this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had some trouble with my vehicle being hit in parking lots and woke up one morning to a smashed back window. And decided its time for some security to help identify who messes with my vehicle. This Nextb 122 Cam has been nothing but the best decision I have made. Not only does it record while driving but even when parked and your no longer in your vehicle. Setup is a breeze, and the video quality is excellent. The amount it captures is so nice. And now I am able to sleep without worry! I definitely recommend even if you just want to use it while you drive to capture things.

Good basic dash cam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of pieces when you first open the box which can be a bit overwhelming but actually not too bad when installing. It's small and sleek. Decent video quality. Intelligent Parking Mode is a nice feature because my car has gotten bumped plenty of times!

Good budget dashcam, has limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price point, this is a super affordable dashcam for the basic purpose of recording video on the street. This camera records in 720p and has a 120o viewing angle. The quality is good enough to get a general view around you, but may not be crisp enough to pick up license plates. If you've got a bigger car like an SUV the cable may also not be long enough to wrap around the windshield. The suction cup works pretty well, and the dashcam stayed in shape. The night vision isn't that great, but with headlights it records enough.
