Worked great until MacOS Sonoma

Have been using this dock for a few years with minimal issues. Since upgrading to Sonoma, it has stopped working. It worked in a few of the Sonoma betas, but does not work in the 14.0/14.1 final builds.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our TB3DK2DHV. This is not expected behavior for our docking station. I see one of our technical advisors is currently working with you on gathering information on the setup and assisting with the reported issue.
Often drops 2nd monitor. Other ports will intermittently drop. Seems to get overloaded. Running a Macbook Pro 2018, Intel i7 processor. Dock will flicker all monitors and connections even if bumped slightly. Has been a major pain, finally replacing.

We bought five (5) of these units to work with Lenovo ThinkPad's. These laptops are equipped with TB3. We've ensured that the TB firmware is up to date on the systems. It does show connected in the Thunderbolt manager (Intel).
If you connect a USB, fine, connect a monitor, gamble, connect two monitors, USB stops working. Reboot with a single monitor, USB still isn't working. Unplug USB (camera, USB, keyboard) and reboot with a single monitor, then plug in the USB, 50/50 chance of working.
Absolutely unbelievable that a $600 dock is this un-reliable.

Pros: Charges Laptop, powers 2x Displayport 1440p monitors @75hertz, 1 GB ethernet, and 1 USB port used for external webcam. Completely silent, no coil whine or fan noise (Unlike model # DP3DOCK2DPPD)
Cons/opinions: -Provided thunderbolt cable really short -Slides around when you have good cable management due to the dock not having much weight -Not enough USB A ports (only 2) -Would have been nice to have the Thunderbolt connector was on the back instead of front. (To connect to laptop). Makes my setup look messy. I would have bought another TB3 dock that had this, but as of July 2022, all other Startech docks are back ordered.
Can't seem to use the two ports on the back for the DP in and out, only VGA and HDMI seem to work. We want to use DP since the VGA and HDMI ports on the back seem to be going out.

When all hooked up, keeps disconnecting and reconnecting... screen keeps flashing on and off like another monitor is trying to be setup, and power icon keeps showing plugged in/ unplugged. Lenovo laptop on Windows 11

No issues when it's working. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason when plugging it in to a Macbook on whether the external monitors will come back in the same rotation or not. Usually flipping the cable over or closing the laptop screen before plugging in will fix it. It's a small annoyance, but otherwise the dock works great.
Tried replacing a Dell WD19TB with the StarTech TB3DK2DHV. After 1.5 hours, 7 cables, and two operating systems, couldn't get the StarTech to work using DisplayPort and two monitors. Only TWICE was I able to get just ONE monitor working. Checked drivers, firmware, settings, cables, verified both monitors set to DP 1.2, to no avail. Plugged the Dell WD19TB back in and BAM! It worked the first time. StarTech usually knocks it out of the park, so rather bummed about this one. Connecting to Windows 10 on Gigabyte Aero 15 XA laptop.
