Only issue I have is the LED lights are so bright I have to put something in front of it to prevent from seeing them..

We have had a night owl unit for five years and it did great until recently with hard drive failure and other issues. So I priced this unit and a very good price for 16 channels offered. Bought and put into service..only been over a week now but seems fine. Only reason for four stars is because unlike our other unit on play back and recording on a memory stick, I could record and view all cameas in one backup onto the stick. This unit only allows you to record only one channel at a time...time consuming...and you can only view two cameras at a time when playing play back?...why not all like the other?......maybe you guys and tweek your software out to accomplish this like your other units?
For the price and all the channels offered I would recondmend at this time.......only time will tell if it holds up?

Looking forwards to adding a wireless doorbell camera because this device supports both wired and wireless.
Does need a new application for phone and computer.
The new app does not allow remote management and device must be configured while connected to monitor.

I'd go 5 stars, but the power supply was bad for the cameras that I received yesterday. I'm sure they will replace it once I notify them of the issue. I have two nightowl security products. A 14 camera wired system for my home and 4 camera wireless system for my chicken coop! I am a big fan of Nightowl and their technical support is very approachable and helpful!
