The galaxy fold is a great phone but some of my games had to be played on the smaller screen. Also it is hard to hold when in the fold mode . I miss the stylus from my note eight because I used it alot because I have long fingernails . When unfolded i noticed a blindspot when playing my games on the right handside. Screen is very sensitive, alot of warnings about not pushing to hard on screen , or getting wet , also I read the glass only lasts about 5 years due to the crease. High priced but that for the technology is understandable. Love samsung phones this phone was on my fair list . Just didnt fit me personally.
Such a great phone and even more exciting when used as a table. It is so much better than I ever expected it to be. The one drawback perhaps would be the battery depletes way too fast unless you turn off features that you generally don’t want to have to turn off.

The future of mobile devices

I have waited for this phone for 3/4 years and was so happy to finally order and receive it. I am disappointed in not getting the phone in blue, so I settled for the black since colord were reduced to 2. The phone is not as delicate as people stated on reviews. The inner screen is plastic, but I've used the phone for over a week with normal use as I have my previous glass screened phones. I ordered a hybrid case from spigen and the combined weight of the phone with it is there but It gives a sense of a solid device. The phone opens and closes magnificently with a click into place when fully open which requires effort to close the phone. The transition with apps due to app continuity works great from the outter to inner screen and vice versa (need to set that in settings). The stereo speakers perform wonderfully and provide an immersive experience. I enjoy the multitasking as i was able to watch the ravens and steelers football game while texting a friend about it (still able to see the game even with the keyboard up) and searching the web with the native samsung browser for a total of 3 apps. The battery life is nice but I haven't played too much attention to how much time I get with it as I've been gaming with clash of clans and watching shows mainly and needed to charge it once after maybe 12hrs. I have my screen brightness set to about 1/3. Overall I enjoy the phone and the 4.6" screen is small but older users that have used older smart phones with similar size screens should be ok with using it. It is a fully functional screen to where you don't need to open the phone up, but where is the fun it that lol. Camera quality for me is great as I am coming from the galaxy s7. I would highly recommend for all to try the phone out.

I have been using this phone for a few days now, and I must say I have genuinely enjoyed it. I find myself using the full screen (Tablet) then the smaller screen, but I do like the smaller screen as well. The resolution/display is phenomenal and an eye-catcher. Holds in my hand very nicely, and the battery life is pretty good with a full day use. The phone is a bit expensive, and I am babying the phone more than my previous phone Notes 9, so this phone is probably not for everyone, but it is a 5 Star rating in my books!!

The first concern when I purchased this phone was the size, would it fit in my pants pockets, shirt pocket, jacket, etc. As it turns out, it fits better than my last Galaxy S8+. When closed, the phone is narrower, which turns out fits better in pant pockets. The narrow, but thicker aspect is more comfortable and more secure. The only time I can say the old phone fit better is when I put it in my shirt pocket, which I don’t do now since the pant pockets work so well. I use the front pockets 90% of the time, back pockets 10%. It also seems a little more durable. When not in my hand, it is closed and drops do not seem to bother it as much. I really like the fact that the it is like two phones. When closed you can organize the apps in that mode. I only put the ones on the home screen that I would use when I don’t need much of a screen. I can then organize the apps different when the phone is open, focusing on the apps that I want a bigger screen for. Some apps like texting I have on both. I do quick texts when the phone is closed and open the phone when I have a longer conversation going. One of my favorite items is the location of the fingerprint sensor. It is on the side and in a position my finger is naturally when I hold the phone so the phone unlocks with my finger without even trying. The Galaxy Fold is still just a phone and does everything other new phones do, just in a way that works better for me. I would buy this phone again.
Phone is great. Im a mechanic and having a huge phone in my pocket sucks so i would always get the smaller iphone. I wouldnt be able to get the plus variants and with this phone i dont have since it folds in half and isnt much bigger when folded than my iphone x. The durability seems pretty good as well it feels sturdy when held and the videos are awesome. If you like to jailbreak your iphone to customize it i feel like so far that customizing has been a way better experience on the fold than what i could do on the iphone.
