I've been drinking Diedrich French roast blend until it was discontinued in my subscription. This forced me to look around and I settled on Peet's to give it a try -- pleasantly surprising. Darker and richer than the Diedrich, oilier, and more aromatic. I like it better and will likely stick with this for awhile. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I see a variation between Kups but I'm probably being too picky. I use a K-Cafe set on strong.

I enjoyed this brand when I ran out of my usual dark roast coffee (Starbuck's Verona). It had a pleasant strong taste, very enjoyable! I thought it was so good that I reordered more & will again.

I like my coffee strong, and this Peet's Major Dickason's gives me a nice strong cup. But it's not at all bitter and it it has an excellent taste, one of my very favorites. I've bought it several times now and I always really enjoy it.
