We are super picky coffee people. We used to buy the beans from our favorite coffee shop, grind, brew, clean - repeat. But it was all worth it because that first cup in the morning needed to be the best. So we were reluctant to purchase a Keurig. It's been around for a while now, but those Green Mountain coffees were just ok, watery and flat. But with a change to our longer commute to work, and more varieties in the mix, we finally gave in. So after getting our white Keurig last month (the white is only available online but looks amazing) we ordered a bunch of different premium coffees from our favorite brands. Hands down the Peet's Major Dickason's blend, was the clear winner. It's bold, but not bitter, just rich and smooth. We love it, well about as much as our grind and brew! Really hard to believe it can be that easy without compromising on taste like the others k cups. I went to order more and noticed there was no review yet so had to post
I tried out this coffee based on a recommendation I got from shaving forum I visit. I usually don't drink dark roasts because they are too bitter for me. However I found this one to be pretty darn good. I would definitely recommend and will be adding this one to my list of favorite coffees offered by Keurig.
I have been drinking Major Dickason's Blend, Peet's signature blend, since living in San Francisco in the early 1980s. Have been having it shipped to me cross-country for over 30 years. I have tasted very few dark roast coffees that are consistently as good as this one.
Since I started with K-Cups about 5 years ago, I've discovered a preference for dark, bold coffees. My previous favorite was Parisian Nights from Timothys, when it was discontinued I kinda quested for a replacement, through Black Tiger, Revv a few others that were also good. Eventually Parisian Nights and Timothy's became available again, and now I've found it's not quite as good as Major Dickason's. Major Dickason's commands a premium in the local stores, but through Keurig it's about the same price as Revv and Black Tiger (another favorite), so as long as the price is competitive, this will be my coffee of choice.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Not Bitter
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was quite pleased when I tried this blend. It has good aroma, flavor and smooth, not bitter. I wouldn't say it's weak, but I only gave it 4-stars, because it could be a bit more bold/stronger for my tastes. All-in-all, this is a good blend that would please a daily coffee drinker.
This is an excellent choice for people that like "rich coffee flavor" I guess you could call it bold, but that can also mean strong and this coffee though rich and rounded is not what I would call strong like say a French Roast. It ranks right there with my other favorite-Tully's Hawaiian.
Pros: Not Tooo Strong, Well rounded, Rich Coffee Flavor
I would recommend this to a friend!

I experienced this coffee 30yr ago picking up a couple of hitch hikers in Alaska and allowing them to pitch a tent on a lot I just acquired (I stayed in my school bus). They shared their coffee with me and I was hooked. Already a fan of rich dark roasts, this has them all beat. I mail ordered for years in AK and now in Portland I can go down the street. And now the convenience of Keurig. Same great flavor as my first cup!
