It is a good puzzle for the majority of the states but I was surprised to see there isn't a piece for each and every state labeled. It would be nice also to add in N, E, S, & W.

Great educational toy

My 7 year old daughter loves this puzzle. her grandparents are over the road truckers and it helps her understand where they are when she talks to them on the phone. we also play games with her to help her learn the map. love this!

Great puzzle for learning the states

Our grand daughter struggled with it at first when she was five but now at 6 she can put all the pieces in and can read the states and capitals.

Just gave to my 6 yr old granddaughter. When placing the pieces, she was looking at the spelling and could not find "Colorado" as "Denver", the capital is listed on the board. Had to place by shape. Also - you need a zip-lock baggie to contain the pieces when not in use as they just spill out if not put into some kind of container. Wasn't thrilled with this....would have been nice if it was magnetic or at least the pieces fit together and snapped down so they wouldn't fall out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great way to learn geography

I thought this might be too old for my three year old granddaughter but she was fascinated with it and though she needed some help I think it will be a wonderful learning tool for her. She wanted to know where all of her relatives live,
Pros: Durable, Entertaining, Fun, Great Value

my son,almost 3 years old, loves puzzles, and now this is the only one he wants to put together. He has already memorized quite a few of the states' names, and where they belong in the puzzle! Great purchase, would recommend to all parents of preschoolers.

We purchased this for my grandchild for Christmas when he was nineteen months old and yes I know the age group is five. It instantly became his favorite puzzle as his granddaddy patiently helped him with it. We have videos of him at twenty months putting each piece in its place. We could hand him one randomly and he put it in its place without hesitation. Guests would watch with astonishment. We have many of these puzzles and I can't praise them enough. I wish the stores would carry more of them, however, I am happy that I found them here. Happy learning and thank you so much Melissa and Doug! God bless.
