Hoverboard is great but the app is trash

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it. The only problem is the app is complete garbage and will not work at all. It crashes over and over again and you can't accomplish anything. You can't play music or change the lights, etc. without the app so those features are useless because you literally cannot access the app. We tried multiple phones, installing and un-installing, restarting, etc. and nothing works. Reviews of the app show that many people have the same issue. Not sure why they don't fix this, it's just awful and makes the whole thing suck. The actual hoverboard is nice, sturdy, works well, but I would not have paid so much for something with features that we can't use, I wish I had purchased a different brand that had reliable features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great...when it worked

Hoverboard worked great for a few months, then became spotty, then died. Hoverboard would randomly cut off and would not cut back on (fully charged). Would let it sit for a little bit and come back. Would work for a few mins and then cut off again. Became so frustrating that we just stopped using it. App seemed to be wonky most of the time too. Similar issues with our other Jetson Hoverboard. Not sure I would buy another one.

Worked great for a week

This is the 3rd Jetson hoverboard that we have had, and all 3 of them have had the same issue, where after a short period of time, one of the motors on one side of the hoverboard quits working, so you can only ride in a circle. It happened with the first one we purchased, and Jetson replaced it, and the same issue happened 2 more times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast and excellent companion app

Picked one of these up as a wedding gift to myself just under a year ago and glad I did. This thing is fast and well built. Battery life is fantastic a well. Lots of ways to customize it with the companion app. It even has an app on the Apple Watch that acts as a speedometer so you can see your speed in real time as well as a readout of the battery level. I don’t really use the Bluetooth speakers, but the sound was loud and clear the times I did. Overall very happy with my purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for our beginner rider.

Our 9 year old has been riding the board for about a month now and really loves it. We love it because we can control the speed, torque and other variants thru the app. That way she can get acclimated at a lower speed, then we can give her access to more speed later on

Well we got this hoverboard for a replacement of our discontinued one that we had problems with and the company is awesome to deal with and they have quality hoverboards and the service was awesome. I won’t hesitate to get more of the jetson brand items. We also have scooters and our children love them a lot. So I would recommend to go with a jet son item if you go shopping.
