I BOUGHT IT ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO.. I AM TRYING TO CONNECT THE USB BUT IM DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE USB.. CAN I GET A HELP

Failure of Connect Plus

I bought two Boom Boxes and struggle to keep them connected clearly over the Connect Plus+ feature. The second speaker, connected over Connect +, always distorts and chatters. I was first instructed to reset to default but this was not the solution. The Connect + techology seems not to work for many streaming sources and media formats. I cannot connect the two apart from using the suggested music stream service provider. This is very disappionting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great speaker

Bought a couple weeks ago so I could have tunes at work. Work in a factory that can be very loud so needed something big. Disappointed that no Cilp speakers have the connect plus Extremely regret buying speaker to find out Boombox two was available online. Thought w.e can still get a boombox 2 only to find out that it can't connect to boombox 1. Wished I would've known I was spending that kinda money on an out dated speaker.

I love JBL speakers, but this one sometimes skips or goes in and out which is upsetting me. It happens randomly and only sometimes not always.

Great sound!

The first Extreme uses a protocol called “Connect” which does not pair with the Extreme 2 that has a protocol called “Connect+”. And now JBL just came out with ANOTHER EFFING PROTOCOL CALLED “Party Boost”?! HOW ABOUT SOME BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY JBL!! Should’ve hired more thoughtful engineers on the connection side. The sound on the extreme 2 is nice though, give your sound engineers a raise. Not buying anymore of your products when you keep changing connection protocols, whats the point if none of my JBL devices connect to each other. I would need to replace all my devices every few years, rude.

Not happy after the latest update

Ive had this speaker for a year now and up untill now i have been very happy with it.
I recently updated it to the latest firmware and it is definately not as loud as before. It just so happens that the Boombox 2 was released around the same time as this update. It seems to me they have intentionally lowered the max volume to make the Boombox 2 seem more desirable.

Sounds great but having issues turning on

Bought this boombox about 10 months ago and I love it when it turns on. I am having trouble getting the unit to turn on. I have to press the button multiple times and it seems to be getting worse.
