Quality sound and materials.

This is another quality product from JBL. Great sound with durable enclosure, solid handle, and waterproof. Great for camping, beach vacations, and tailgating. Everyone will be amazed at the quality sound and volume... It makes a party!

I bought the Extreme2 because the reviews on the Boombox said save your money. They were wrong. I now use both and I will tell you, you get what you pay for. The Boombox may be almost twice the cost of the Extreme2, but it is definitely twice the speaker. I put 4 stars because, if it's even possible, it could use a little more bass and the connect+ feature could use a little improvement on range. But overall, this thing sounds amazing, good bass for its size. Clear, crisp sound even cranked. Amazing battery life. And the Blutooth range is insane. I work in a large aircraft hangar and I can leave the speaker in one corner and go all the way to the other side and through doors and it still plays. I will definitely be buying more JBL speakers and I highly recommend connecting multiple models together for full range sound.

The sound is typical JBL sound, great bass some highs and missing mid range. I own all JBL in my home and auto and I plan on using this for my boat this summer. I wish it had a meter of some kind for battery life so you know how much listening time you have.

I ordered this piece for a friend but I tested it before I gave it to him. It sounds awesome, I like the bass and the battery life more. It is rather massive in size.

I bought the JBL Boombox to replace another brand that was nice but battery lifetime was below average. Boombox exceeded my expectations. Nice deep bass. IPX7 waterproof a plus! Can’t wait to put in party mode with my brothers Boombox.
