Perfect addition to our Beach Jeep

The wife just got her dream jeep last winter and we were looking for something we could enjoy camping and beachin with family and friends . The JBL Boombox fit the bill to perfection - Thanx JBL for making another excellent product

Not as loud as it ought to be and battery life did not last 24 hours, as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for the review, battery life would depend on how the speaker is used. As stated above, music content (i.e. Rap, R&B, Rock, etc.) and volume level would certainly play a major role in the playtime of the speaker. If the speaker is at 80-90% volume playing audio with a lot of BASS, battery play time would be shortened compared to the speaker playing mellow/slow music at 40-50% volume.

I am enjoying the great sound that this unit has and the connectivity over long distances when the phone is away from the location of the unit itself. worth the money for sure.

Bought the Boombox and paired it up with couple Charge4’s for outside pool fun! They sync up seamlessly with the touch of a button.

This boombox is big, but light enough to carry around. I really like the USB ports and the fact that it’s waterproof. The highs and mids are excellent, and the bass is great for the size of the speakers, but a deeper bass sound would be one way to improvement the performance. That being said, I highly recommend this Boombox for anyone who enjoys taking their music wherever they go!
