Bought this a few weeks ago and the sound is outstanding. Very crisp and clear and excellent bass. Highly recommend.

Deep loud base...all you can really ask for in a bluetooth portable....I use it to play base tracks for my flute, and I ,also imput it from my keyboard. It is sturdy and powerful....my only wish is it were a litle lighter to carry, but i guess that is the trade off for the deep sound

Best portable speaker,can compete two Jbl Extreme

Having purchased jbl flip 4, Jbl extreme 2 and Jbl boombox i have a great experienced in these kinds of speakers and i have to mention some True facts: 1) Jbl extreme 2 is 35% more loud than charge 4. Jbl boombox is 40% louder than Jbl extreme 2. (2) Jbl boombox of course has stronger bass and a slightly better quality in sound than extreme 2, which is a great speaker. (3) It seems that JBL Connect+ is USELESS. The speakers and the mobile have to be stable and all stick together in order to play all together simultaneously. Furthermore, in some occasions there are interruptions in the connection between of them. (4) It seems when using JBL connect+ , there is a decrease of 20% in power. In other words the speakers lose more than 20% of their power and loudness, spending energy for synchronizing between of them. This means that using two Jbl extreme 2, wouldn't surpass Jbl Boombox in terms of loudness, because they lose 20% of their loudness. However Jbl Boombox can compete 2 Jbl extreme 2 and it seems they have equal loudness. This is not mentioned anywhere, but it is my long experience in Jbl speakers, as a professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Renewable energy sources.
