I got this for my 9 year old son as an upgrade from the last version we had. It works great for him and I love that I have the family sharing and screen time options available to monitor his activities. I don’t have to argue with him when he is allowed on his tablet I just set the screen time options for when he allowed on his tablet. It also restricts what websites and apps he is allowed to view. This helps so much as a parent to know that he will not be exposed to things on the internet. Also with the family sharing he is not allowed to purchase things without my permission. These are excellent features that allow him the freedom to not have me hovering over him, but gives me peace of mind that he cannot access inappropriate material.
