[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to like induction, I really do. Issues: 1. Our cooktop is slightly misaligned so the lights aren’t aligned with the top, and it’s taking forever to fix, I assume because of supply chain issues. 2. You really need to mash the top when changing heat levels. Why couldn’t they have added up and down arrows to make life easier? 3. If you need both front and back burners on, then you really need to center your pot or pan, otherwise one burner will turn itself off.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Hard To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jennair induction cooktop is part of our long-planned kitchen renovation. Prior to this, we were bought an induction cooktop for our old kitchen to try out the technology (from a less expensive brand), and we were thrilled to discover that we loved induction and found it more responsive than gas. We selected the Jennair for our renovation, primarily for its simple design which maximizes the cooking footprint, rather than wasting space with lots of gimicky controls. We also selected the stainless trim, to protect the edges of the glass from chipping (this happened with our old cooktop with just a minor bump and the appearance was really unfortunate). The Jennair is definitely a step up! It is very sleek and low-profile on our countertop. The flex zones work wonderfully and are more powerful than our prior. The controls are very simple and sleek: horizontal bars of basically up and down. We had to read the directions and get used to the controls for bridging the adjacent zones, but now find this very easy. The rectangular zones heat up my double griddle much better than my old cooktop. I am 100% pleased with our choice of this excellent cooktop!
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Quality Construction
