Screen can still be damaged if the phone is dropped, since the catch on the front cover is very weak, dependant on how the phone lands on the ground the front cover could open allowing the front screen being liable to damage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great case absolutely pathetic shipping 8 days

I really like the case. This is my forth Galaxy Strada case third in Expresso color. I have used these on four different Galaxy phones that always fit well and the Brown leather color looks better every day as it ages. It gets a darker patina. I ordered the case March 6 and pathetic delivery date was March 14 through Fed Ex. Colorado to Dallas area.

If i had ordered the right one.
Ordered a S10+ by mistake, re ordered a S10. Arrived today.
Fit & finish is brilliant, used Otters for the last 5 years-ish, for work & personal phones.
Friends and family have yet - not through lack of trying - managed to only break 1 by driving a car over it.
Cant recommend the covers enough. Never taken out insurance at £9.50 / month, trust the cover as a much more cost effective option!
Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

Excellent quality of the phone case. The only thing that I have issues with is the button on the right hand side is not the easiest thing to press. I think somehow the design should be improved. It was the same way when I had this for my 9 plus
