Not nearly as easy to apply as it is advertised.

Got a brand new phone. Wanted to show off the phone along with having a sleek design for the case. However the case does not protect the screen. I bought the alpha glass purely based on the fact that I wanted something to protect my screen. I have the new iPhone XR, first, it does not fit the screen fully. But the “ease” of peeling it off of its carrying plastic and applying it to the phone. It’s actually more difficult than one would think.
I cleaned my brand new phone with the alcohol wipe that was provided. I used the soft cloth to ensure that the phone was dry. I placed the guide on the phone, peeled the alpha glass from the plastic, and carefully stuck it to my new phone. Bubbles everywhere. So, I tried pushing them out, not working. So, I had to peel it off of my phone, clean the alpha glass from the 2 centimeters it took to go from the plastic to my phone. Then one spec of dirt got on the side of the alpha glass. I wasn’t going for round two.

The protection is great. Very responsive as if there were no protector. The view is as clear (minus that spec of dirt) as if there were no protection. But application of this thing. Apparently you need professional installation if you want it done right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
