I did all correctly, but saw an infinitesimal spec underneath. I tried to get it out, but ended up worse and now there’s a small edge area not sticking.now I’m just leaving it alone.

The glass is super easy to install with zero bubbles. However, I’m surprised that it doesn’t fully cover the entire phone screen (iPhone XR), which does two things: 1) Lets lint get stuck to the outer edge of glass 2) Leaves outer portion of screen unprotected.

We deliberately design our screen protectors to leave a slight gap between the glass and the edge of the device itself. The space is intended for installation variances - if this did not exist, it would be difficult to apply the Alpha Glass in conjunction with your protective case, and the two products might not work together as seamlessly as we would like. I bought this screen protector about 2 weeks ago. Last night it chipped in 3 places and spiderwebbed in one place from being dropped on gravel from about waist high. I rated this product a 3 because while I did expect it to be as durable as my Zagg cover and not chip, it did prevent my iPhone XR screen from being damaged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve always had defenders. With Alpha Glass the Pursuit works just as well. The Alpha Glass is sharp and clear and works very well to protect. Actually on my Defender the over screen would move and not look as clear. I really like this screen protector better.

I was so excited to get the alpha glass screen protector thinking that if i paid a little more for a good screen protector, then it would last longer. I have had it less than two weeks and it is already chipped on the side a little. I haven't dropped it or anything. I really like the smooth feel of the protector but am afraid the chip is going to get bigger and bigger. I also purchased the Symmetry clear stardust case and it already has scratches on the outside. Love the light weight feeling of the case but kind of sad that I paid so much for what I thought was going to better quality but really is just ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got a new iPhone XR, so got a new defender case to go with it.
No screen cover on those now, so I ordered this Alpha Glass screen cover.
I had it on my phone for literally 2 days and it chipped on an edge and cracked.
It does not go all the way to the edges of the screen and there’s a small gap between it and my Defender case edges.
Of cours Otter sent me out a new one no problem, they’re great that way, but y’know for all the $$ I spent on my case and this screen cover, I expected way better performance.
I have used defender cases on every iPhone I’ve ever owned, and they really do the job.
Otter is great at standing behind their products but this cover is overpriced for the quality.
I hope the replacement lasts longer than 2 days.
