Tough case, good protection but doesn’t look good

I love how sturdy this case is and I feel that my phone is safe in it but the back is already ruined. I’ve had it for only two weeks and haven’t dropped it or scratched it but because the clear back is so delicate just putting it down on a table or carrying it in my pocket leaves a mark on it. It looks like the case is a year old after only two weeks. For the price, it shouldn’t already be that damaged looking just from everyday use.

Somewhat dissapointed!!

Very nice looking case and very functionable. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and already have several micro scratches on the clear side. I thought it would have been abit more durable for the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our cases are not necessarily designed to be indestructible so much as they're intended to absorb the brunt of any impacts that might otherwise jeopardize the phone itself. Great product, lackluster options

This is a great phone case. Best phone case I've ever had, hands down. If the Defender is a tank the Pursuit is a light tank. And with the Alpha Glass I have no fears taking this thing out into the field, or farm really [though I do wish the Alpha Glass covered further to the edges where the case is].
Absolute worst color choices I've ever seen, however. Considering OtterBox bought a competitor with amazing color designs, you'd think they could afford more pigment options on the main lines. And since the new iPhones have amazing new colors themselves, it's a shame the clear cases were out of stock with no hint to when they're coming back out. So I got the saddest, drabbest purple on Earth because it was in stock & not as easily confused with the ubiquitous black case. In the customizable case option, all the "good" color choices were out of stock as well. I flood-filled the OtterBox logo with a bright nail polish just to give the sad thing some life. Stinks that an amazing phone in bright coral in a great quality, expensive case looks so so sad.
Overall, great case, great protection for an expensive item! But holy cow, grow a colorful spine.

This case is super duper protective! I’m never concerned about my case however I do have a lot of micro scratches on the back of my phone case - which is majorly disappointing but it does look cool as the case is clear and my phone is blue!

Good case .... but not so good in cold weather

I’ve had the case for less than a month my job requires that I must leave my phone in my pick up as I do work in oil refineries. With the winter temperatures the charging port cover became brittle and broke off when I tried opening the cover to plug in my phone to charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect fit, function, and quality

This is a quality case that absolutely protects the phone while showing the new anodized back cover through the clear case. A welcomed bonus feature is the speaker sound ports that shoot out the front of the phone instead of the bottom. I didn’t think this would make a big difference, but it makes hearing the sound a lot better than even cupping the phone bottom as was necessary before. Although the clear plastic is starting to get a few small scratches, they’re nothing significant that detracts from the cover. I would recommend this case.

Originally bought a Symmetry clear case. It was nice and compact and completely clear. Problem was it was too hard to remove. Needed a hair dryer to warm it up. Decided to try a Pursuit (clear back color) when it was more reasonably priced on Cyber Monday. Case is easier to remove and should work fine. The Symmetry is better since it is all clear and made of a "grippier" material (doesn't slide off the table). It is also physically smaller. I guess there is no perfect case. Yet.

A bit disappointed

Have used Otterbox exclusively for a number of years. I recently purchased one for my new iPhone with a clear backing. I’m disappointed in how easily it scratches as well as it does not have that rubber backing so it slides easily in the car etc. For the price I expect much more from Otterbox. I wouldn’t purchase this particular one again.
