I PURCHASED THIS FOR A WEEKEND PLACE WE USE IN WISCONSIN THAT HAS WELL WATER. I WANTED FILTERED WATER SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO CARRY WATER FROM HOME TO MAKE COFFEE. PRODUCT WAS EASY TO INSTALL. IT HAS VERY LOW WATER PRESSURE, TAKES OVER A 2 MINUTES TO FILL THE COFFEE POT.
Don't get the reviews of people finding installation to be dificult. It was very simple, too simple. The print on the instructions are rather small. could be more clear. Water flow is slow but good and steady. Water taste great. and the brushed nickel faucet matches perfect with the new fixtures on our remodeled kitchen.
We upgraded from the AQ-4000 undercounter unit and the AQ-5200 is a definite design improvement. The ease of filter change will be a lot easier than the AQ-4000 model. This system eliminates the chlorine chemical taste that our tap water has.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
Though I prefer drinking spring water, I use Aquasana filtered water for making all my soups & stews, tea & coffee, etc...it's a vast improvement over tap water.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter, This Is My Second Unit S
Had an older model with a different spout that required you to hold down. The new design with the new faucet valve much better an easier to use, especially for filling large pots. I like the idea of the battery alert. You never can be sure when the filter life has ended. I have not heard it yet so I will see if it works. Directions for the grommets during installation should be outlined or made a little more clear and obvious. I had to uninstall and reinstall after noticing extra parts.
