So far we.like our Aquasana filter system. The flow is slightly slower than the GE filters it replaced, but our water tastes better. Overall, I think the cost of operation will be a bit lower.

The installation was really simple. Only be sure to check your fittings to be sure they're tight. I thought my fountain was, but realized after using it for a couple days that it was not! My cabinet is now water damaged and I need to look at replacing that. The water however tastes clean and fresh. Huge difference from the osmosis system I replaced. The Aquasana has much better tasting water. Very happy with this purchase.

The bad taste of my water coming out of the filter is the same as the bad taste of my water going in to the filter. I presume that this filter technology is not designed to remove certain bad tastes. The flow rate is also very low.

I'm really impressed with this little system. For such a reasonable price point, it seems to be doing a great job filtering our water. The installation process was pretty easy (the hardest part was wedging myself under the sink!); and now our drinking water tastes delicious.
The installation process does require several tools that may not be easily accessible to everyone (including a power drill); but the process isn't difficult.
