After years of attempting to use cheap pitcher and attachable filters, I finally made the step up to a 2-stage Undercounter filter, and it's been the best system I've ever used. The price was perfect, and after days of shopping and reading reviews, I chose this one because of the price, additional items, quality ratings and ease of install. I didn't mount mine against the back cabinet because I live in an apartment, but it's been perfectly fine nonetheless. The taste, color, odor etc. I experienced with other brands of filters are completely gone, and the chrome filter matches my other fixtures like they came from the same set. Overall, these filters are excellent and you won't regret picking this one.

This is the second filter i've used. New house new filter. We found that my wifes cats did better when they had filtered water, rather than city water. It's noticeable when I make a cup of coffee
