From beginning to end, Aquasana's products have been a pleasure to purchase. I decided to buy the 2-stage filter based on estimating the amount of water we use (two of us in a household). It does appear that every 6 months is about the right time period in which we will use most of the capacity of the filters, so I signed up for the "filters for life" automatic order program. This will be a welcome saving of time and hassle over searching for and ordering pitcher filters.
The installation really was easy. It took me about an hour total, including locating tools and uninstalling a spray hose. (Because of our faucet's design, I had to leave the spray hose installed under the sink, laying in a bucket in case it leaks.)
I like the improved "twist-lock" design of the new filter cartridges. In our last house, we had an older Aquasana system with threaded cartridges, which tended to get stuck. The new design is much easier to remove and install. Flow rate at the tap is good - it takes perhaps 3-4 seconds to fill a glass of water and 40 seconds to fill a tea kettle. Before buying this system, we were not using filtered water from the pitcher; we were wasting lots of tap water waiting to flush the pipes. So the new system is not only filtering more pollutants, but saving water as well.

It was easily installed with clear and simple directions. Much more convenient than deliver of 5 gallon water jugs. It does result in a slight decrease in water pressure to the main faucet.

Seemed great until had to remove and reattach filt

Everything was great, we love the faucet, it was easy to install and hook up. The flow was slightly low but not bad. And then... we had to remove and reattach the filter and it started leaking everywhere. Will be contacting customer service tomorrow and hope to get this resolved will update review once we hear back from them.

Water tasted fine but filters don’t fit properly

Since we started our service with Aquasana and purchased a two-stage filter and the water for life filter plan, we’ve had issues. At first, after installing everything under the sink, the water would not flow. When I called Aquasanta tech-support, they told me to just pop a quarter inside the filter so that it would push the cartridge up higher, which I thought was strange.. a dirty quarter inside the filter housing? That did work though for a short while, then the flow stopped again. When I called back, Tech Support told me to unscrew the filter cartridge casing just a little bit. The water started flowing (albeit somewhat slowly.) I didn’t like the concept of the filter housing not being fully screwed closed but I went with their advice. Thankfully I also have a leak detector under my sink because this morning it was beeping and there was a lot of water under the kitchen sink (which is above my office filled with tech and camera gear) The culprit? Yup… water dripping out from the top of the partially unscrewed housing. When I screwed it fully closed the leak stopped but now the water doesn’t flow.
