We had a kitchen remodel and put a new one in- the plumber did it as it was part of the remodel-but our first one just needed one of us to install it. I am quite impressed with the tiny 1/2" hole that is cut into the granite, it doesn't need a plate just comes out of the counter and looks fantastic- so easy to clean. If you have to install to a larger hole, they include a disc to put over the hole as our last one had. The water comes out very fast and shuts off quickly and completely with no dripping- We are so happy with it. It's our best filter yet. I have had various aquasana systems for 10 years and love the quality of the water. In my next house will put in the whole house filter.
