Overall, we are pleased with this unit. When I timed filling a half gallon pitcher, it was slower than half gallon per minute. It was right at 1.5 minutes for a half gallon. However, without timing it, the pressure seems typical for one of these types of installations. If you like your water in a hurry, you'll have to go another route, but this is not so slow that it is a problem for us. PS - We have a whole-house particulate filter, which is why we went with two-stage instead of three-stage.
I use the Aquasana multiple times per day mostly for drinking. It is a little slow pouring but not bad. Good taste. I have confidence in Aquasana to give me clean and pure water.
It was time to replace my old water filter system as parts were harder to find and expensive. I wanted filtered water for my ice maker, coffee maker and drinking water.
The product came with good instructions and was packaged well. It had everything you need for installation. I am in an apartment with no water dispenser in the fridge. They had a hole in the countertop at the sink for something like this so it was the perfect solution.
Pros: Attractive, Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install
It was easy to install even with the variations in my system. I have a "T" connector to the ice-maker on my refrigerator. The unit is mounted under my kitchen sink. It is performing quite well. The only concern that I have is the flow rate of the unit. Is there any way to increase the flow rate? I know that the water pressure in my house is fine and the flow rate to the kitchen sink is good.
Use for daily drinking water and cooking. So much more convenient than lugging water from the water kiosk - and cheaper too. Nice looking faucet (purchased brushed nickel). My primary reason for purchasing this filter was the number of toxins removed and the excellent price.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Removal Of Toxins
