Happy with the performance, it's a tad quicker than the counter-top. MY install was trickier than most: had to drill a new hole in cast-iron sink for the spigot. Also I've got a ton of neck & back problems, so squeezing under the sink was torture & sent me to the Chiropractor! However everything went smooth, I used plumbers pipe-tape on every fitting I could reach not a single drop of leakage!! Just follow the directions!

Installed on my kitchen sink to replace RO system that was leaking. This seemed much easier to install. But this system leaked too. I felt the filters and one of them was wet on the bottom, although fully inserted and tightened. I removed the filter and reset it. Hopefully it won't leak anymore. I seemed like the o-ring didn't completely seal.

The nut that holds the spout to the unit is woefully small an extremely hard to tighten. Since the thread on this is not available in hardware stores, it would be a huge improvement to have a large wing nut come with unit, in addition to or instead of the small nut.

I use to have the countertop water filter which also performed great but we just got new granite countertops with a new sink and faucet so the countertop filter would not work with our new faucet. I called Aquasana to see what I could purchase to work with the new faucet, and they recommended the under counter filter. It was on sale and because I have been a monthly member for a few years they sold it to me for a great price. This filter was easy to install, looks great and matches my faucet color/shape, water tastes great, and the water flow doubles my old filter. I would highly recommend this filter!

I love everything except the slow pour. I got a glass jug with a tap ( like you might use for lemonade) and I fill that and keep it on my counter. Seems to be a good solution. It was easy to install, doesn't take up much room under. The sink and so far we are happy with it. We haven't had to replace the filter yet though.
