Despite a lack of tools, I was still able to install. I had a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. I would recommend installing the filter system with a new faucet at the same time. My faucet has one of those spray heads. I used the hole the spray head was using in the sink for the new dispenser. However, I could not remove and cap the spray head, so now the spray sits below the sink but still full of water. Good excuse to go buy a new faucet (without spray head attachment) Overall very easy to install and a huge improvement over out her filter options.
The water taste really pure. I have both a water filter on the refrigerator and this one. I really like the aquasana best. It has a good steady water flow.
Please redo you instruction manual. The single sheet of paper describing the depth to insert the tubing into the filter housing was lost in the packaging. This information should either be included in the installation instructions or taped to the housing. Mark
I purchased this unit to replace a previously owned Aquasana under counter filtration system. I found this unit the same ease of installation and the quality of the purified water to be as good if not better. The most noticeable difference is the filter changing access compared to the previous model. Much easier with this new unit and much clearer as to which filter goes where and in what orientation within the holder.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install
Replaced our whole countertop, sink, and faucet. Went with brushed nickel so we were looking for a hi quality, brushed nickel sink filter. This Seemed to fit the bill, so we ordered it. The faucet is very nice, hi quality and compliments our main faucet nicely. Easy to install, no leaks with quick connects. But then after running for 10 and then20 minutes to flush, my wife complained about the taste of the water. So we are still using it for coffee and cooking but much prefer filtered water from the fridge for drinkability.
