The installation was very easy. I attached the Claryum® 2-Stage filter system to a length of 1x6 and mounted angle brackets on each side of the filter inlet and outlet sides. The brackets keep the poly lines straight and relieve stress on the connections. Have a total of 7 connections and have not had any problem with leaks. The key to success is proper tightening of the compression fittings and pushing the lines all the way into the inlet and outlet connections of the filter housing. Very pleased with the taste of the filtered water. I have city water and it has a strong taste and odor of chlorine. I filled a couple of glasses, one of tap water and one of filtered water. Wow, what a difference. No more chlorine. Tastes as good or better than the bottled spring water I was buying. I like the fact that we can now drink the city water without fear of any contaminants it may include.

Installation wasn't too bad. Water was good. Flow was low but that's expected for a good filter. However, when changing the filter the thin, plastic flange on one of the inlets (the yellow filter side) broke rendering the unit useless. Pretty flimsy.
Pros: Clean taste
Cons: Not durable

Step 5: Once re-threaded and re-attached, test by turning the water supply back on.

Some significant advantages but one disadvantage

We replaced an older AQ 4601 2 stage filter with an AQ 5200 2 stage filter today. The older unit was 8 years old and worked well until recently, springing a leak at the tubing joining the two filters at the bottom. Parts to effect a repair were no longer available. The new unit has several differences. It appears that the procedure for changing filters is much easier, and the routing of water lines is simpler with a single line connecting to the dispensing faucet( the old unit had three lines) and a single supply line, making the installation much easier. The new design faucet does not drip after the valve handle is shut off unlike with the older faucet which was a complaint by some in the past. Unfortunately, the new dispensing faucet is a much less substantial piece of hardware weighing about half or less compared to the old design and does not have the quality feel that is obvious in the older unit. I am hopeful this new unit will be durable, resistant to leaks, and prove easy to replace filters, but would have preferred a more substantial dispensing faucet unit. Time will provide the answers.

Way too slow

While the water does come out clean and good tasting the flow rate is terrible. I was sent first new filters, then a new system, and told to put coins under the filters none of that increased the flow. The flow rate was always well below 0.5gpm.
