Have used this filter for at least 1-1/2 yrs now. Had purchased it to replace a Brit pitcher filter because I wanted much better filtration than that. Water tastes wonderful and my coffee maker doesn't seem to need a vinegar cleanse any more (should probably give it one anyway sometime). It's a bit louder than I'd like, but worth it for healthier drinking & cooking water. It functions perfectly. Love the deep narrow space saving real-estate on my counter as I haven't a big kitchen. Looks nice. I'd like another pitcher for using larger quantities of filtered water, but with a handle.

hopefully the water filter is working to eliminate contaminates from my water. the machine is VERY loud and i feel the filters do not last very long and are very expensive.

Unsure How Long This Filter Will Last

This filter seemed to be fine for the first two months. Recently, though, it has started acting up. Sometimes it still seems fine, but sometimes I push the button and nothing happens. Sometimes I push the button and it runs for about seven seconds, then stops. Then it runs for about seven more seconds, then stops. I'm not sure if it will completely fail soon or not.
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
