I purchased this filter for a non-softened well water spigot in my kitchen. I always have enjoyed and liked the taste my unprocessed well water but have always wondered about the safety of it. (who knows what's in my ground water). After installing the 3 stage filter, my drinking water is even more amazing. No more Brita. The water is great for my coffee and for cooking as well drinking more water. Softened water is great for the shower and dish and clothes washer but not much else.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Long lasting filter, Durable
Cons: Slow pour

The filters work great but not that easy to install for those that are elderly with weaker had strength. I install them for my elderly parents when I visit them. Also sometimes they forget about the battery. Which it battery compartment was clearly marked.

I use to drink from the "filtered" water on my Kenmworth fridge and only use my under sink filtered water for cooking. But once I tried from these filters I was hooked! Now the water from the fridge tastes like tap to me. I really was surprised how well these filters make the water taste. Now if only I can find an aquasana filter that will be compatible to my fridge I will be set.
