The AQ5300 is a solid little unit. It filters well, improves taste, and is fairly straightforward to install and maintain. Replacing filters every 6 months equates to about $100/year for a family of 4, but it gets well used. Haven't had much luck finding a recycling program by Aquasana for used filters, but the plastic components on the filters are pretty small. Overall we're satisfied with our purchase of this system.

The water from this product has been very good. Installation was fairly easy. We have had a defective black filter a couple of times. Other then that this would be a 5 star rating.
