This product is on auto replacement (every 6 months). Use this system to replace a one gallon at a time water distiller. Love the taste of the water, so much easier (it does all the work after install), and I'm no longer continually heating the house via waTer distiller. I've not had water tested but assume NSF standards are correct.

We have had this water filter in our house for more than a year. It is so good even the kids prefer to drink water rather than soda now! The filter was pretty easy to install, lasts for months at a time, and the filters are easy to change out. We love it! Aquasana has been very good at keeping in touch with me about filter replacement, so I don't have to hunt down the filters on my own.

I would have given a 5 Star; however, then it would be perfect and nothing is that! It is unfortunate our water is wasted by so many and that most of the human race doesn't take care for our environment! Then we wouldn't have a need for filters to keep from getting sick. Not a lover of plastic either, ( these are made of) is also polluting our environment! Everyone should watch Plastic Paradise! People need to pick their battles and we are, sad to say, in a paradox! Sad...

Our water gets charcoal from one of our cleaner tanks sometimes and the water turns black/gray for a short while. The water at the kitchen sink was terrible but the water out of the Aquasana filter was crystal clear.
