I felt the unit is the best overall, I.e. filters more impurities for,the price, and had best complete kit (brass fittings,etc). I intally purchased a different water filter from large box store, but it didn't have all the fittings to install. Anyway, happy with unit, but filters are pricey for 6 months of use. ,

Cons: Filters are a bit expensive for only lasting 6 m
