I have the system installed below my kitchen sink. Easy access, easy dismantle and replace. I use a thin film of water proof grease on all the "O" rings. Keeps them from binding. FYI, Wichita Falls recycles the sewage water due to the extended drought we were in. Aquasana gives me the confidence I need to consume our supply.
