Our water is very good now, but the infrastructure is 60 +years old and the bad water had been running through the pipes until just a few years ago. I wanted a system that would remove the debris that clings on the pipes and lets go. It has done the job and I'm very happy with the filters.

Am very satisfied with this product. For me, it was about removing the chlorine as I am a block from the chlorine pump station and getting way too much chlorine in my water. Besides the bad taste, was concerned about bladder cancer risk increasing from drinking it daily.

We purchased 2 systems in April 2016, one for us and one for an elderly parent. In early October the parent's unit began to emit the "replace now" signals (audible tone and flashing light). Since the water usage at that location is much lower than our home, we expected to find the original filters in a "barely used" condition. Wow. Were we surprised. It was obvious by the appearance of the original filters that they had been hard at work and very effective in removing impurities. We'll soon be replacing the filters at our home and fully expect the same results.. The replacement process was simple and quick. Happy campers here.

We use it to filter out any impurities that may be in our old pipes which were installed when the house was built in 1970. The local water is good but does have high mineral content. The filtered water is vastly improved over the non filtered faucets.
