My wife needed a system that filters out mercury, and most filters don't do that. I settled on the 3-filter system after some research, with this one being highly recommended among affordable systems. It does a great job of filtering out unwanted taste, as well as (I presume) the contaminants that it claims to. The problem is that most of the time, it doesn't seem to flow as much as it claims to. When my second set flowed painfully slow, they sent me a new set, which flowed great. But on my next set, it was back to slow again. I was told they may need to replace my manifold system, as they had problems with a batch, and was also told to make sure the first filter was fully engaged. The system still flows slower than I think it should, and many other reviews have reflected this. Perhaps it will be improved in the future.

Easy installation and use. Home drinking/cooking water filter that eliminates many chemicals, metals and contaminates in our kitchen water. Nice having and electronic reminder when to change filters. Take about 2 minutes to replace.

The filtration system produces good tasting water with specifications which eliminate many undesirable impurities. However, the filter system lasted only one month before the red warning light and beeping indicated that the filter should be replaced. Replacement filters are too expensive for the limited life span
