We live in an older home and sometimes the water comes out of the tap dirty. In addition to that, we have noticed that water quality is not what it used to be. We feel much better about using our Aquasana filter system in our kitchen for both cooking and drinking water. Does it filter out the rusty-dirty water? You bet it does and provides us with clean water whenever we want to wet of whistle.

For years we had used and been satisfied with a countertop Sun Pure system. That company had to stop making new 6 stage water filters because of a patent issue, although I could buy replacement filters and UV lamps. When we renovated the kitchen, I wanted a new under-sink filter that provided similarly great tasting water. Our Aquasana water is delicious and comes cold out of a tap placed conveniently at the corner of the sink. The total annual replacement cost for the filters is similar to what I'd paid for the Sun Pure, and the auto-ship option has been accurate at estimating when the system will ask for a filter change. I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.

Great water filter. Easy to install and the taste is hard to beat. Also like that I only have to replace every six months. It really pays for itself. Keep those plastic bottles out of the landfill and buy one of these filters ASAP!

Interesting product overall. I found it out through the analysis of independent water filter reviewers. I was surprised how simple 3 way coal filter could have gained so much positive feedback when the market has been full of osmosis ones.

I am not mechanical but the filters were easy for me to replace---NO LEAKS! However I could never figure out where the battery compartment was. Hopefully they are not an integral part of the operation of the unit. (The unit was installed at the back under my corner sink and was not easy for me to get my head in there). Otherwise all.went well and I will simply replace filters when they arrive in 6 months
