We use the unit for drinking and Cooking purposes. I also ran tubing to my refrigerator for ice. Coffee and Tea taste like it should,without the added taste of chlorine. We live in an older home,when copper tubing was fused together with lead solder. This filter system eliminates this from the piping. I wish the system supplied more volume,but I can live with this, just having great tasting food and drink,not to mention for health purposes.

I bought this so I would not have to buy bottled water anymore because I was feeling quilty about all of those empty bottles in the landfills.trying to save our beautiful world. Every bit helps. For someone like me who knows nothing about plumbing, I had to get my next door neighbor to install it for me and change the filters. And it does have a slow pour. But the water taste great and I am saving money.

The only way I can properly review your product is by having the tap water and then the filtered water, using your product, tested through an objective laboratory. I am wondering why your product is never reviewed by Consumer Reports. That has always bothered me.

In 2015 when we remodeled our kitchen we were eager to remove the old clunky on-the-faucet filter. In our research we found this Aquasana 3-stage filter system that mounts under the sink. We are thrilled with both the performance (improved quality drinking water that filters many different pollutants) and that none of it is visible "above the counter." Dec 2015 was the first time we had to replace the filters, so we ordered these replacements online and signed up for the automatic replacements every 6 months. The first filters arrived quickly and were easy to install. I'm thrilled Aquasana has this automatic replacement program: it's one less thing for me to remember and I keep my water safe and healthy.
