Replacement filters are fine. Original design is weak at the plastic joint and the torque is too much. This needed to be replaced with quality hardware. Horrible original design.

We are members of water for life and have been for several years. Our water is very drinkable but has a chlorine taste we could do without. This product gets rid of any taste in the water. We get clean, clear and totally tasteless water. Great for coffee. Threw out the Brita, no more costly and un-eco friendly plastic bottles. Just pure water. One con though: the water is not very cold but this is minor for us. We understand that is has to pass through three filters so it's normal that the water be tempered.
