I used an RO system for many years but it was difficult to maintain and used up a lot of under sink space. With this new system I can't detect any difference in water quality and it takes up little under sink space. It is also so much easier and less expensive to replace the filters especially when an RO membrane needs to be replaced. In my opinion Aquasana is a much better and easier to use water filtration system.

Great tasting water but gpm output is not as advertised

Product is durable and easy to install. Water tastes great! The only complaint I have is that the gpm output is about half of what is advertised on the website, so the wait time for filling up a large receptacle can be very long. The output from my old New Wave Enviro 10-stage filter was super fast, so I thought there was something wrong when I installed the Aquasana product. I almost returned it but decided to live with the slow flow.

It is an excellent product. The only thing I do not like is that the filters need to be changed more frequently than described. Our household has 3 people. We have to change the filters every 2 or 3 months instead of 6 months as recommended.
