I know this works because when the filter needs replacement, WE CAN TELL! It's noticeable! I started with the two filter system and then upgraded. The upgraded system offers the following benefits: - easier to replace filters - even though there are three vs two, the instructions are better and it's easier to switch out the filters - faster pour - it's still slow coming out of faucet so I don't use the filtered water to fill a pasta pot - but it's a slightly bigger faucet so it comes out faster I have saved SO MUCH MONEY no longer buying bottled water -and it's better for the environment. I use the Aquasana glass bottles and keep them filled in the fridge for cold water.

I try never to drink tap water. I use this every day and a lot. I am not sure why but there is always a lot of air bubbles that eventually go away. Maybe this is normal. The only things I do not like is that it does not soften my water enough. I have very hard water. I am not sure, but I think this system does not remove arsenic which is a little disturbing. Other than that this is a great system
