We are using NYC water. The AQ-5300 has doubled the life of the filters from about 2 months to 4 months. If they lasted 6 months I would change the rating to 5 stars. Keep trying.

Our municipal water has a definite chlorine taste, especially on certain days of the week. It rather resembles pool water.
