We had an installed filtration system for drinking water, plus were using filtered pitchers, and the water still did not taste very good. On top of that, heating the water for tea, coffee or cooking made it taste and smell odd, so we decided to upgrade the system. After using Aquasana for over a month, the improvement in the water is very noticeable in cooking pasta, potatoes, etc. We are enjoying both tea and coffee more too, since the flavors are no longer changed by the additives in the water that our old filter system did not remove. The somewhat slower running cold water due to the triple filters is of no real concern, because we finally have really good-tasting drinking water.

We've had Aquasana for years, but had a constant problem with the filters clogging quite quickly, due to the high sediment content of NYC water. We used a pre-filter that Aquasana provided, and which helped a little, but we still went through a set of two-stage filters in under 3 months, even under 2 at times. This 3 stage set completely solved the problem! The water is wonderful--actually tasty--as it always was, but we now get up to 6 months on a set! THANK YOU Aquasana!!!!
