These were the first replacement filters that I have put in since I installed the unit last fall. The flow rate is noticeably slower than it was before I replaced the filters. This is disappointing, since the flow rate was already slower than I would like. It does a good job of filtering out the bad taste and odor of the water here though.

We like how clean the water tastes but the water comes out painfully slow. It has a slow, barely tolerable flow after initial replacement of the filter and then shortly after, it starts barely streaming out at 2 cups per minute rather than the advertised 16 cups per minute. We contacted the company and they had no suggestions or apologies. They didn't care. We also sent an e-mail inquiring about suggestions for speeding up the flow to the speed that is advertised but we received no response. We're planning on replacing the unit but since we put the initial investment into the unit, we're running out the last filter we have before we do.

I have an espresso coffee machine and it needs pure tasteless water to make great coffee. This is just great, pure tasteless water right out of the tap. Just love it. When we want a glass of water, that's where we get it. I even fill the cat's water bowl with it. We now only use the regular tap water for doing the dishes and cleaning.
