Was very disappointed in this last round of replacement filters. The water volume is aweful, just sputters out of the faucet and takes forever to fill a glass. This is the second time this has happened and I'm not happy about it. Considering using another brand.

I have been using the 3 stage system for a few years now with water for life. The water is delicious. You can absolutely tell the difference. I am so happy I chose this filter, which keeps the healthy minerals in your water. The filters last well past their 6 month period. In fact, the change filter beep has only gone off once. That was my first 6 months right after installation in my newly built home.

This is a lot cheaper than buying bottled water (now we bottle our own when we want to). We installed the aquasana 3 filter system in our wetbar off our kitchen. The kids use it all the time to fill their cups. It's a relatively slow pour compared to straight from the tap, but fine for filling a glass. The only time it's evident that it's slow is when our kids use it to fill gallon jugs to replenish our fish tanks. The alarm that indicates the filter needs replacing is a bit of a mystery to me. Not sure if it measures the volume of water going through or if it goes off every 6 months. There doesn't seem to be a change in taste or appearance of the water when the alarm goes off, but we change the filter anyway. It usually goes off after we've already received our automatic delivery of new filters. The filters are easy to change. Even my wife can do it (sorry). Over all, we are pleased with the system. We enjoy having clean water on demand.
