Step 1: Turn off the main water supply underneath the sink.
Step 2: Remove the sump from the manifold and reconnect.
Step 3: Ensure that the connection points align correctly and turn the sump from the left to the right until it stops.
Step 4: If the sump is not locked in the correct position, it can slow the flow of your system. This process should mitigate that issue.
Step 5: Once re-threaded and re-attached, test by turning the water supply back on.

The way the tubes going to and from the filter work is HORRIBLE! The slightest tap will cause them to start spewing water. I’m not sure why anyone would design their product to function this way. I hate that we drilled a hole in our counter for this stupid thing.
Cons: Filters need replacing too often, Difficult to install, Not durable

The tubing is cut incorrectly -
Step 1: Turn off the main water supply underneath the sink.
Step 2: Carefully remove the tubing from the inlet of the system on the left and the outlet of the system from the right by pushing in the quick connect fitting and pulling out the tube.
Step 3: Ensure the tube is cut squarely and re-insert into the manifold.
Step 4: If the tube is not cut correctly, then recut the tube to fit. An incorrectly cut tube can cause leaking at the inlet/outlet. This should mitiage that issue.
Step 5: Once the new tube is installed, and the system is re-connected, test by turning the water supply back on.

One of the 3 replacement filters came damaged. I wrote an email and was told I would be sent a replacement. I received the replacement and installed it within a few minutes. The filters are extremely easy to replace if you follow directions. A definite water quality improvement and definitely a responsive company.

I purchased my 3 filter system a month ago but because it is a newly constructed home I am waiting on the builder to finish some plumbing repairs before I can do the install. I had this same system in my two prior homes and was very happy with it. It makes a big difference in the taste of the water when highly filtered.

filters do not remove Total Dissolved Solids

Using the test stick from the zero water filters, the new Claryum filters I just installed for the aquasana system show the filtered water with a higher number for Total Dissolved Solids than the tap water it is filtering (around 300). Prior to replacing the filters it was just below it. Compared to a zero reading from the zero water filters and 20 from bottled water.
Pros: Easy to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is the amount of dissolved minerals and metals present in water. TDS meters tell you the concentration of dissolved minerals and metals, but are not an accurate measurement for contamination. Aquasana products reduce and remove harmful TDS like lead, but selectively retain or replace healthy dissolved solids like calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
