Not as easy to install as your video, because there are plumbing pipes in the way, garbage disposer, sink, etc. However, the parts went together fairly well. One of the filter modules leaked at first and I had to call customer service to resolve the leak, but works fine now. I do wish the on/off handle on your faucet was a bit higher up though. All things considered I'm glad to have bought it.
All materials needed for installation in the box. Supply your own drill for the counter hole, and in it goes. Took water with a heavy chlorine oder and took it out, no taste or order
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet, Easy to install
So far, the filter has been operating fairly well. I got the max flow version and it does have a good flow but the head and sump system need to be evaluated. The first sump heads I received leaked a little bit at first and customer support was fast to replace them. The new heads also leaked but with some adjustments, I got them to stop. It was a few drops here and there. Nothing crazy. The design looks good but here are my suggestions if the company cares to read them: 1. Improve the way the sumps sit in the head unit. It doesn’t seat securely and the use of the grommets seem like you could get a more secure fitting. 2. Don’t be afraid to use copper. Copper expansion rings/joints are way more secure in the lines than metal ones would be. Or upgrade it so the water in and water out use standard water lines. I’d gladly pay the difference if it meant less leak chance. 3. quality check improvement needed desperately on the sump heads. Two grommets/o-rings were warped before i even inserted the sump and that caused some of the initial leak. Or send some extra o-rings. They cost pennies but would probably help with the leak issue. It won’t fix it because the interlock between the head unit and the sumps need to be addressed primarily. Fix these issues and youll probably get much better reviews and happier customers. 4. Find a way to get air out of the filters. Sometimes air from the water line gets in and slows the flow but when I burp the sumps, water flow is restored.
Pros: No odor, Long lasting filter, Nice faucet, Easy to install
In early November, I purchased the 3-Stage Water Filter system. It took me approximately 1-½ hours from start to finish. Upon completion, I removed the plastic insert to start the system and turned on the water supply. Amazingly, there were no water leaks. I flushed the system for 10 minutes, as required, and afterwards, had my first glass of filtered water. The water was delicious! I couldn't have been more satisfied. I unequivocally recommend the Aquasana filter system I have purchased, to anyone wanting wanting an easy-to-install, inexpensive, under-counter system.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet, Easy to install
Installation was easy, all the fittings needed are supplied. I was able to use my existing fixture so it matched the rest of our fixtures. I like not having a tank under the sink taking up a lot of space. The water tastes much better than our tap water, no taste or smell of chlorine. We are very happy with this items at this point. Installed for 30 days.
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install
We purchased this based on a Wirecutter review saying it had the best certifications for water quality. That may be true but we’re not experiencing that great water because it leaked out of the box, from where one of the filters connects to the manifold. They are sending me a replacement part which will hopefully fix the issue (not assured) but in the meantime I wasted a day putting this in and then reconnecting the water, which I’ll then have to do over again.
