This filter was easy to install. However, the filter canisters leak at random, regardless of use. Went away for Thanksgiving to find the bowl I placed underneath it FULL! After 2 weeks of use, I am uninstalling.
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install

A large amount of white crystalline powder appears

I bought a Aquasana under sink water filter, Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow at December last year, Upon installation, I noticed what appeared to be an oily film floating on the water's surface coming from the Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow. For the next week or two, I used it only to wash things.
After using Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow as drinking water for a few months, I've discovered that the water that comes out of the Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow has a lot of tiny particles floating in it; and a thick layer of white crystalline powder on the inside wall of our water boiler. This has never happened before with Claryum® Level 3 Maximum Flow.

Great tasting water

We really enjoy our new water filter. The water tastes great and it's wonderful to have the dedicated faucet for our filtered water. It looks so nice. We had a one filter on the counter filter previously. It was unsightly and awkward to use. Knowing now that our drinking water is removing so many more contaminants gives us peace of mind. We are no longer buying bottled water. YAY!
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet

I don't think filter works as it's tasting just like direct tap water. also had TDS rating done it's same as tap water 535 so will be retiurning this.

We're sorry to hear that we did not meet expectations in taste! In consideration TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is the amount of dissolved minerals and metals present in water. TDS meters tell you the concentration of dissolved minerals and metals, but are not an accurate measurement for contamination. Aquasana products reduce and remove harmful TDS like lead, but selectively retain or replace healthy dissolved solids like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Based on the product that you're inquiring about, it is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards to reduce up to 99% of 78 contaminants plus sediment. Defective Design - Leaks

My kitchen has been flooded twice now because of this 3-stage max flow filter. The design of the unit itself is faulty and WILL fail. The brass coupling that connects to the filter does not last and will fail after about 6 months. This has happened to me multiple times. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Cause of a major house flood

We purchased this under the counter Aquasana filtration system about three years ago. The water quality seemed good, and the only complaint initially was how difficult it was for me to change the filters.
However, 2 weeks ago we woke up to the sound of rushing water. Our kitchen floor was covered with water, and our finished basement had 5 inches of water. One of the Aquasana filters had ruptured and the water was rapidly pouring out. Our basement was completely destroyed, carpets, ceilings and walls. Our kitchen floor was destroyed. This experience was so traumatic, I cannot begin to explain the stress we are under.
