Water for Life program is great to receive replacement filters on a regular basis. As I live alone, I did not replace the filters (under counter, and shower) as prescribed. I am still using the original shower filter, and it still shows no signs of needing replacement. Vs my other shower, which has no filter. I use this other shower for my dog, and can smell chlorine when I use it. These filters are genuinely top-grade, and would last at least as long as the total volume they are rated to filter. I did cancel my Water for life subscription, as I have 5 sets of filters (under counter, and shower) that are brand new in box still. Once I deplete these filters, I will be back on the Water for Life program.

I am really happy we bought this system. It works great for our needs and the cost is great. I like how much this system filters. The only thing I would like improved is that I think the cartridges should be recyclable somehow. Hopefully Aquasana can work on that aspect. Otherwise I highly recommend this product.

I use the AQ-4035 at my kitchen sink for cooking and drinking. Our water here in Southeast Mississippi is hard, with lots of minerals. It's rather yellow coming straight out of the faucet! The filtered water from this product is sweet and clear. My only frustration is that sometimes the flow of water through the filter is slow and frequently it comes to a complete halt. I haven't been able to determine the factors causing this to happen. It occurs randomly across calendar time (recently replaced, needing to be replaced and lots of places in between) as well as time of day.
