My intent on purchasing this unit was for good, clean filtered water for my ingestion and household uses: especially for my coffee and Hunting/camping.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
The filters need to be tightened to avoid leaking out the bottom to an extent beyond the ability of my unaided hands. Loosening at time of replacement is similar issue. I use a wide spanner to get sufficient leverage and that is reliable. After a couple of years of use the automatic shut off valve on the nozzle is not so automatic. Now it lets some water through the filter unless I push back with my finger. Probably some calcification. Do not know how it could be fixed.
Silicone no longer provided, making removal harder. Used for drinking, ice and some cooking. New filters available at higher price - why, since I signed for water 4 life at the original price.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
Water with confidence that it is always, safe, clean tasting and sooo convenient to use...right at your fingertips for cooking, drinking and refilling bottles to go. I can cross it off my list of concerns in my quest for good health in my ever-changing environment knowing Aquasana delivers what it promises. Arizona's hot, dry climate dictates a need for lots of hydration and my water filter system allows me peace of mind to accomplish this.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
I have an "under-sink" unit. It works great, but my last filter change, I noticed the filter construction is a little different, so it may be a different manufactorer. The flow rate seems to have dropped off by 33%, or more.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
Only "con" is that the faucet handle to turn on/off is counter-intuitive. Our usage is minimal, so our automatic 'lifetime' filter purchase/delivery has us with 2 yet-to-be-installed filters!
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
